Dr. Jacobs loves all aspects of family dentistry. He is an experienced dentist with a skill set that includes CAD/CAM Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Implant Surgery, Occlusion Design, Full Mouth Rehabilitations as well as Moderate IV Sedation. Dr. Jacobs has attended numerous Continuous Education courses and hands-on programs. His goal is to stay ahead of the ever-changing field of dentistry.
Dr. Jacobs is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), The Canadian Dental Association (CDA), The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and he also maintains his membership at the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Dr. Jacobs spends most of his free time with his lovely wife, Alet and their three children. He enjoys most outdoor activities, including cycling, swimming, hiking, scuba diving and skiing.
Dr. Atwaul pursued her dental education at Schulich Dentistry – University of Western Ontario, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Seeking to broaden her expertise, she embarked on a journey to New York City, where she completed a rigorous General Practice Residency program. Shortly after, Dr. Atwaul joined our practice in October 2023. With a deep commitment to excellence, Dr. Atwaul enhances her skills through continuing education courses, ensuring her patients receive the highest quality care. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys hiking scenic trails, and has a passion for travel and adventure.
Dr. Lina Shaar is a skilled general dentist committed to delivering gentle, personalized care. With extensive experience in private practice and advanced training, Dr. Shaar is passionate about patient education, empowering individuals to enhance their oral health and achieve their dental goals. Her dedication extends across all aspects of dentistry, ensuring a comprehensive and compassionate approach to each patient’s needs.

She earned her undergraduate degree with honors in Chemistry & Biochemistry from Western University in London, Ontario, in 2005, and her DMD from the University of Manitoba – School of Dentistry in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 2009.
As a lifelong learner, Dr. Shaar continually updates her skills with certifications in Invisalign, Comprehensive Dental Implant Training, CEREC, and cosmetic dentistry. She is an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA).
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Shaar loves spending time with her husband and three young boys. She enjoys tennis, reading, and traveling.
